About Us | The Premiere Event was started by Cynthia Himmelfarb, an attorney and gourmet cook who loves to entertain. She cooked for seated dinner parties for 24 to 36 guests each month in her home. She tried all the party rental companies in the greater Nashville area and found the quality and selection available at the time, to be, in a word, abysmal. Having lived and worked in New York, Cynthia knew that there were better party rental goods to be found and decided that Nashville was ready for them. With the support of her husband, Elliot, she opened The Premiere Event, beginning with a black tie party on Nashville's historic Music Row. With 200 Gold Charivari Chairs, 20 60-in Round Tables and 20 120-in Round Black on Black Striped Cloths, the style of Nashville parties was forever changed. Needless to say, party givers were thrilled and delighted to have a local source for fine quality and stylish party rental items.

During the construction of our current facility, Cynthia used the large dining room of her turn-of-the-20th century home as a temporary showroom. Clients enjoyed being in the warm home setting and Cynthia incorporated many of the same features into our beautiful showroom located at 7101 Sharondale Court in the Wilson Pike Circle Business Center in Brentwood, Tennessee. It is like no other party rental company you've ever seen, with tables set for different styles of parties, weddings and events, and an enormous antique buffet displaying silver chafing dishes and urns. Everywhere you look is a visual treat, with props and bars and seating and unique items found only at The Premiere Event.

The Premiere Event's goal is now as it was then: to offer absolutely the finest and broadest selection of party rental items in Middle Tennessee plus the expert Customer Service that our experienced and knowledgeable staff can provide.
